Abstract
The topics presented at the 26th ISTA Congress, held in France in June 2001, have been focused upon in this paper. Subjects dealing with the precongress workshops, meetings of technical committees, science symposium and plenary session have been also outlined. Additionally, role and tasks of public Seed Testing Station in Beaucouzé, France have been presented. The issues discussed and voting course on changes in the new edition of ISTA Rules have been also dealt with in this article.
