Abstract

Twelve varieties and breeding lines from three turf grass species, grown in pots in three different soil mixtures were first tested in glasshouse for drought resistance. Further, turf in pots was allowed to regenerate and root and shoot dry weight was measured after one (in April) and two (in May, August and October) years from seed sowing.
