Abstract
The effects of three herbicides: Aminopielik D 3 l·ha-1, Chwastox D 5 l·h-1 and Granstar 75DF 30 g·ha-1 on weeds in winter wheat cv. Elena and spring wheat cv. Torka were assessed. The experiments were conducted in four replications on degraded chernozem classified as good wheat soil complex, using the completely randomized block design. Weed species composition, number of weeds and their air dry matter per 1 m2 of plot were evaluated. The results of tests showed that the herbicides applied considerably modified weeds composition, reducing the number of weed species, number of weeds and their air dry matter per unit area. Granstar 75DF was the most active and effective herbicide. Chwastox D showed intermediate effects and Aminopielik D was the least effective.
