Abstract
The aim of this study was estimation of genotypic diversity of 22 Polish winter triticale cultivars based on RAPD markers. The estimation of intercultivar polymorphism was carried out basing on 15 RAPD primers, which were selected among 48 primers tested on 5 winter triticale genotypes. The chosen oligonucleotides generated 135 fragments of DNA, 87 of them (64.44%) were polymorphic. The mean value of similarity index was 0.862 and fluctuated from 0.734 between cv. Malno and cv. Tewo to 0.903 between cv. Marko and cv. Fidelio. The highest average genetic distance to all examined cultivars was observed in the cv. Tewo (0.785), the cv. Fidelio was the most similar to other cultivars. On the base of obtained results a low level of genotypic diversity was stated among the studied winter triticale cultivars.
