Abstract

Cup plant is a species with a large but still underutilized potential, both as a source of biomass for the production of energy in a biogas plant, valuable feed for cattle as well as numerous other applications, e.g. in reclamation, phytoremediation and beekeeping. Its use in agricultural practice is close linked to the knowledge of cultivation and access to seeds of varieties registered in Poland. The first domestic varieties of cup plant have been available since 2018, while this article contains the basic information necessary for cultivation.
